Anne Dudek
Anne Louise Dudek (born August 25 in 1970) is an American actor from the United States. She has portrayed Tiffany Wilson in 2004's White Chicks, Danielle Brooks on USA Network TV series Covert Affairs, The Dr. Amber Volakis for Fox House and House house. Lura Grant can be seen appearing on HBO Big Love. Francine Hanson has a role in AMC Mad Men. Anne Dudek has gained fame as an American actress for portraying Tiffany Wilson in White Chicks, a 2004 comedy. Her other roles include her television roles as The Dr. Amber Volakis in Fox's sitcom House Danielle Brookson in USA Network's drama Covert Affairs and Lura Grant in HBO's drama Big Love. Dudek, who was raised in Massachusetts was a student at Northwestern University and got her very first acting job on stage in The Iphigenia Cycle. The show was a Broadway production that went off-Broadway and New York City where she was awarded the Joseph E. Calloway award for her amazing performance. She was named one of the top 10 young theatre actors to watch by American Theater Magazine. Dudek was offered roles on television and big-screen. Matthew Heller, the talented actress and mother-of-two behind the camera was her husband from 2007 to 2016. Dudek was conceived in Boston Massachusetts in 1975 and raised in Newton. At the beginning of her career she was a student at Northwestern University where she performed in a variety of theater productions. She also made her Broadway debut on Wrong Mountain (2000). Later, she was awarded the Connecticut Critics Circle Award for her role on The Glass Menagerie. The Book Group, a British comedy drama. In the years since, she has been a guest on a number of TV series including Desperate housewives Friends The Way I Met Your Mother Charmed Bones Six Feet Under and Desperate Housewives. In the pilot for Psych she appeared as Lucinda as well as on Law & Order Criminal Intent an instructor who is having a sexual relationship with a male student. Dudek got her first role on House in the fourth season, playing Amber Volakis. Amber is one of Dr. Gregory House's 40 candidates to be an indefinite member of House's team. She was a character throughout the season, but she was being killed off during the final episode of the series, Heart and Head. In episode 5 of the season Saviors, House would have the character reappear in a hallucination. This was how she appeared for the remainder seasons. Dudek was later seen on Mad Men as next-door neighbor Francine Hanson as well as in Big Love as one of Alby Grant's antagonistic wives, both in recurring characters. Dudek was on Covert Affairs, portraying Danielle Brooks as her sister in the role of the main character. She played Tiffany Wilson, the cruise-line proprietor in White Chicks (2004 comedy) as well as Anthony Hopkins' daughter in The Human Stain.
